3D Avatars are coming to Instagram, Facebook and Messenger
Today Mark Zuckerberg announced that Meta will begin rolling out 3D Avatars on Instagram for the first time
These will be in Instagram Stories and DMs to start. There will also be further updates across Facebook and Messenger.
People can now begin to show up as their virtual self across the social media apps. Meta’s also dipping its toes into promotional gear for avatars, introducing limited-time Super Bowl-themed jerseys.
